- If you have one of the newer 'business class' Optima modems, they have flash
- ROM. For more information on how to upgrade them, I suggest you write
- support@hayes.com.

- Older Hayes Optima modems are easily upgraded by replacing several chips. The
- upgrade kits included everything you need to do it yourself. I'm not sure
- about the cost of an upgrade.
