  18. If you have one of the newer 'business class' Optima modems, they have flash
  19. ROM. For more information on how to upgrade them, I suggest you write
  20. support@hayes.com.

  22. Older Hayes Optima modems are easily upgraded by replacing several chips. The
  23. upgrade kits included everything you need to do it yourself. I'm not sure
  24. about the cost of an upgrade.
